Cursos curriculares en inglés

For students who wish to continue studying the language after completing PCI, and/or for those whose curricular requirements expect them to take subjects in English, the Language Department offers several subjects in English with curricular value.

Although the institutional requirement is an intermediate level of English, you can continue studying and improving your English skills after meeting the requirements.  At the same time, you can accumulate credits for your study plan.

hese courses have 8 credits, and for some majors such as Global Business and Trade and International Relations, they are mandatory.  However, students from other majors can take them as complementary courses.  Taking these courses gives you the opportunity to broaden and deepen your English skills and your oral and written production.  These courses are prerequisites for the institutional English certificate (PCI).

The Language Department offers several subjects taught in English:

1. Critical Reading and Writing in English/Writing Academic Texts in English
2. Mediation and Negotiation in English
3. Public Communication in English / Management Communication in English
4. English for Engineers and Scientists

Proficiency Examination

Proficiency examinations (ETS) are a mechanism through which the student can accredit a subject based on the demonstration of the knowledge or skills established in the program of said subject through the application of an exam according to an appropriate methodology.

You have only one opportunity to take an ETS test in the same subject.  Read more...
